House 1 was born from the encounter between the rigor of geometry and the measured quality of Mediterranean light.
A suspended, essential volume, in constant relationship with the water and the landscape, in which each element engages with time and its slowness.
The smooth, silent concrete doesn't impose itself as an expressive material, but as a surface capable of absorbing light and reflecting it in a subtle way. The light of the sea glides across the surfaces, defining the space without ever dominating it.
The openings do not seek the panorama.
They let it in, making it part of the living experience. The inside and outside are not opposites, but a perceptual continuity, linked to the variations in light and air.
The interior spaces are reduced to the essentials.
Luminous voids, measured thresholds, passages that don't lead, but accompany. Every transition becomes a pause, every sequence invites permanence.
In House 1, building coincides with subtracting.
Let matter, light, and silence determine the shape of living.
