Teodosio

Sculpture, white Carrara marble, 2017
Work completed

In Theodosius, matter concentrates until it becomes silence.
A sequence of planes, inclinations and cuts constructs the space like a measured score of light.

Each element refers to the other in a fragile and necessary balance.
The marble loses its weight and transforms into duration, waiting, suspension.

It is not a concluded form, but a relationship.
A dialogue between presence and absence, between the gesture that impacts and the one that holds back.

Teodosio was born as an architectural thought that became sculpture.
A measure of silence made tangible.
